MWIF Influences with Liaisons to 3GPP and 3GPP2 - Listed here!

One of MWIF's key goals is to influence the Third Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) and the Third Generation Partnership Project 2 (3GPP2) to bring their architectures more closely aligned. The MWIF Operator led Board of Directors leads the effort on this task. They do this by working behind the scenes with the appropriate parties and through direct support of such activities as the OHG Harmonization meeting set for April 3 & 4, 2002 in Toronto, Canada.

The Mobile Wireless Internet Forum membership asssist this effort and has already made a significant impact within the 3G's through technical contributions made by individual member companies on behalf of MWIF.

Below is a matrix of MWIF's current and past formal liaisons to the 3G's. These documents are for review by MWIF members only.
