Dr. Dean Sirovica is founding President and Chairman of the Mobile Wireless Internet Forum. The forum aims to converge various mobile, fixed and internet networks to a single core network, independent of access technologies.

Dean is with Vodafone Group Technology Strategy where he is Managing Director, responsible for the network evolution strategy.

Prior to Vodafone and Airtouch, Dean was Director of Switching and Interconnect with Sprint PCS where he deployed a CDMA mobile network for Southern California & Nevada. Previously, Dean was Director of Wireless Architecture and Engineering at USWEST Technologies where he was responsible for wireless strategy and its integration with fixed access.

Dean was a Senior Research Fellow at University College London where he ran European research projects in Network Management, ATM, and distributed processing. Dean holds a BSEE, PhD, and MBA.
