Myung Sung Lee
Dr. Myung Sung Lee is VP in charge of R&D Center, Information Technology Center, and Business Transformation Task Force at SK Telecom. He is Chief Information Officer and Chief Technology Officer. His main interest is directing SK R&D to prepare for the next generation network, and changing business practices of SK Telecom using information technology to prepare for the rapidly changing telecom environment.
Dr. Lee graduated from Seoul National University with major in Electronics Engineering in 1977, and graduated from the University of Michigan in U.S.A. with a major in Computer Science in 1986. He worked at AT&T Bell Laboratories from 1986 to 1992, in areas of telecom switches and intelligent networks. From 1992 to 1996, he worked at Korea Telecom as director in PCS Laboratory. From 1996 to 1999, he worked as chairman at the Department of Communication at the Sejong University. Since 1999, he has been with SK Telecom as VP.
