Dear MWIF Members:
I¹m pleased to announce that on September 17 & 18, 2002 the MWIF Technical Committee will be holding a meeting of special interest to those who are contemplating using IP in their mobile wireless infrastructure or building equipment for supporting such infrastructure. The MWIF Board of Directors are meeting concurrently, and will be in attendance for our first ever demonstration of an ALL-IP Architecture, facilitated by the Proof of Concept working group. The press has been invited to this event, and we expect significant media coverage. Please take a moment to review the meeting agenda, as it is extensive and covers some important developments. I strongly encourage all members to attend this meeting, as it represents the achievement of several key elements of the MWIF 2002 strategic plan, a demonstration of an all-IP architecture and the MWIF Business Value White Paper. Other highlights include presentations by guest speakers, including Operators and researchers and the beginning of work on several new white papers. Please register by going to the announcement page
Kind regards,
Michelle
